About UHAS
The university of Health and Allied Sciences is a public institution that was founded by a parliamentary act (828). It offers postgraduate public health degrees.
Beginning in 2012, students were admitted to the elite institution, which was established to concentrate on the training of health professionals.
Ho, the regional capital of the Volta, is home to the university’s administrative and primary campuses.
The current public health institution is the Hohoe-based Fred N. Binka School of Public Health.

MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Both applicants from Ghana and abroad may choose from the following choices for this program:

Entry Requirement:
It will be helpful if you have prior work experience in the healthcare sector for the postgraduate public health courses at UHAS. Those who lack post-qualification work experience but have high cumulative grade point averages (CGPAs) are especially encouraged to apply.

Requirement:
Every applicant should be knowledgeable about or have an interest in public health.

In addition to submitting their resume, passing an admissions exam, and/or interview, applicants may also be required to write a 500-word concept note on their area of interest.

DOCTOR OF PHYLOSOPHY IN PUBLIC HEALTH

Entry Requirement:
In addition to a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil. ), Master of Public Health, or other Masters degree in the medical or health sciences, candidates must hold an equivalent degree in a pertinent field from a recognized university.
